Happy Birthday Mama. She turns 67 on this date. Alhamdulillah she is still a healthy woman I've seen 29 years ago. I'm lying if I said I've never seen her fell sick. Every time she felt sick, I definitely will get worried where ever I am. So on this day, my family and my parents headed off to Sunway Pyramid to celebrate her birthday....

After a few shops we strolled into, we decided to have our lunch at The Italiannies. Nice ambiance and friendly staffs. The food has been delicious. Actually this place was recommended by Kak Lyn and since my dad wanted to eat steaks. It seems that place was the best in town. So ma, Happy Birthday!

What's up?

Assalamualaikum, It's been a while after my last posting......I just had few unavoidable circumstances. Plus, my other half was back in town for two weeks. That was also because of the circumstances. Anyway, I have other things to attends. That was why I could not update my blog...

Now I'm back. for another while...before I'm lost in the thin air again...Hehehe....

Tahlil and party....huh?

Today my mom had organized a kenduri tahlil and doa selamat for my nieces who will be taking their SPM and PMR this year. It was made after solat zohor, at about 2.30p.m. So,the menu were mee bandung, bihun sup (for the kids), roti jala,kari daging, pengat durian, kuih lapis, seri muka, karipap and some fruits that I just don't feel like mentioning it...sian hubby terceliur dia kalo baca nie....Alhamdulillah, every thing went well and it finished just before solat asar.

Later, at around 5.30, the whole family plus cousins celebrated Rasyad's birthday party..yup...again...but I guessed this time around he had more fun than anytime before. All his wishes came true. He got his Ben 10 cake plus all the figurine and characters in it. I bought him the lab. As for the snacks, I made nuggets, coctail sausages, drummets and chicken wings and surprisingly all the plates were finished. Alhamdulillah....tak membazir....and the 2 kg cake I ordered also almost finished which was just nice for my family to have a second round trip for the cake.

Today means nothing for most of the people living in this universe...Well, it goes the same for me but it's not for the people who has keep on practicing their moves for the opening night in the Beijing Olympic 2008. Just drop off with a line or two.

Nothing much to blurt out. Just enjoy watching the openings and have a great weekend. As for me I'll try to make the fullest of my life everyday and I thank Allah the things I have in life. A caring and loving husband, great kids around and a good health plus I have my family with me right now. Alhamdulillah.

A treat for me...

Yesterday was my birthday. All of us, my sisters and my mom went to KLCC to give me a treat. We had our lunch at Madam Kwan...Nothing much actually...this is just the normal thing we do in our family...makan-makan...and more chit chatting. Lovely time as we had the time to ourselves... I had Char Kuew Tiaw, Otak-Otak as an appetizer and we all shared the Banana Junk for dessert....It was a banana split actually. Unfortunately, my eldest sister was down with toothache and my third sister had tonnes of work at the office...so that left only me, my mom and my second sister doing the window shopping. KLCC still having their mega sale but it was not as a hot thing as before as the selection was not that good. We stopped by at Toys "R" Us which before was the TIMES Bookstore.

Night time, me, my kids and my mom headed to Great Eastern Mall for a dinner at Cozy House. We did some shopping at Aussino bed and bath and headed home...It was a tiring day but I did had a good time. Thanks to all my sisters and my beloved mom for the treat. However, there is always an empty space in my heart and it was not complete as my sweetheart is not to celebrate my big day by my side.

It's August again...

A month of August..... I've been waiting it....This is my birthday month, Rasyad's and my mom....To start the month....me and Kak Lyn went to our new friend's place in Subang Bestari for lunch....Kak Faridah was making a feast.....with chili crab, chicken curry, meat with ginger sauce, kailan in soy sauce deep fried siakap in thai sauce..kenyang betul and for dessert we had banana fritters with ice ceam and tea to complete it....I even got to tapau the mee goreng mamak....yummy.....how nice of her son and daughter in law to join us for lunch and then went straight back to work at KLIA...Punye syok makan sampai lupa nak amik gambar....

Last Sunday, Kak Intan gave a ring and wanted to meet up for lunch at Restoran Nasi Kandar in Kampung Pandan....my gosh....I have forgotten how does it taste...and it always amazed me on how delicious it was...so I was the target to finished the fish head....but without turning back... I wallop everything....hehehe...then all the kids plus the moms headed to Great Eastern Mall for more chit chats and the kids had a wonderful time meeting up and having fun at the kidz sports and gym...We were there at about 4 hours...Got back later that day feeling tired and full. Thanks to Kak Intan and Kak Lyn for the wonderful time together. I surely gonna miss every and single one of you once I got back to Oman and as Kak Lyn is gonna finish her summer holidays soon. To my hubby....a reminder...tomorrow is my birthday...hehehe..just wish u are around.....

Rasyad's sports day

On the 27th of July, Rasyad had his sports day at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa. I was in a hurry to write everything down here since my laptop has broken. Thanks to my darling princess who stepped on the screen and smashed it. That's why I haven't updated my blogs for quite sometime...and for all this time...a lot of things happen aorund me...

First and foremost was Rasyad's sports day. He was so frustrated as he only got no 4 in the race but thoroughly he enjoyed it. He even asked for a second sports day first thing in the morning he woked up the next day. I have to explained to him that sports day only held once a year.

The next day-28/07/08, My front tyre went flat...I was shocked...after I finished my breakfast, me and my dad went to the petrol station nearby to pump the air and went straight to the car service centre. After a full inspection on the tyre, they found out that there was a broken piece of bolt stuck in the middle of the tyre and it was a deep penentration...hey don't think of something else ok....while waiting for the tyre to be fixed, I've got a shocking and unbelievable news.

Our dear friend whom I first met at Muscat passed away..Prof Dr. Jamiliah.....May Allah bless her soul...so I started to call Kak Lyn as I guessed she must not have heard the news yet. I've made an arrangement to follow Kak Lyn as I am not familiar with Subang area. So we reached Masjid Subang during athan Zohor. So, I went for Solat Zohor n solat jenazah.....and unlucky for me..I was unable to see her face for the last time.

I got home at about 4.30 in the evening. When I was home I decided to go and purchase a new laptop...so I asked my sister and my brother in law to tag along. So, off we went to Low Yat to get a new toy of mine. Once I got there without much searching and wandering around....I got my new laptop in just half an hour. I just cannot wait for the PC Fair as I can hardly walk much these days as I got my back pain again and the main reason, I need to chat with my love one in Muscat...mana bleh tahan rindu....at least I have a webcam to mengadap muka and lepas rindu. Hehehe.
