Aqiqah and Majlis Cukur Jambul

I hope it's not too late for me to wish everyone I know a prosperous new year as I forgot to wish on my last post...anyhow....just wanna share an occasion with everyone. On the new year itself which was last week, we had our little girl's aqiqah and cukur jambul as well. At first, I thought of making it back in KL where all my sisters are around but to think back I also wanted to share this moment with my other sisters here in Muscat.

So, we made it after Dhuhur prayer at about 3.00 p.m. and it prolonged until at about 6.30p.m. We ordered all the food from Arab World as the sheep for aqiqah also we did asked them to slaughtered it and cooked...It was a delicious meal. So on that day my little girl is officially named Nur Adeelah Rania.

W
e even had a Marhaban group from Brunei to help during the cukur jambul process. Thanks to everybody that makes this happened. Especially to Hj Zunaidi and family for the idea. This will be one of the memorable moments that I'll treasure for the entire of my life.

A new girl in town

Sorry for the late post. I recently gave birth to a baby girl weighed 2.4 kilos...at around 12.27p.m on the 14th of December by Cesarean Section as my girl was breech and I had a placenta previa. It was a successful delivery, however, I had cough after the operation which slows down the healing process of the stitches...but now I feel better and healthy as a horse and I hope with this new year more good things will come in our way. Here are some pics for my family back in Kuala Lumpur to look at.

Eid Al Adha

In Muscat, Eid Al Adha was celebrated a day later from the rest of the world. That would be on the 9th of December. A night before, we went to Hj. Zunaidi's place for the takbir raya. At the same time we celebrated three couples wedding anniversaries. It ended at the wee of the night at about 11 p.m. and the gathering was continued at my place the morning of eid itself.

As the menu, it was definitely a raya menu with sambal sotong, rendang ayam, masak lodeh, kuah satay, nasi himpit and the satay itself. It w
as joyous raya as I missed one before for the Eid ul Fitr. I found it very pleasing as I have everyone just like my own family gather round and having a good raya time. Plus I have my parents around. Later thst day we planned our trip for Sur.

Sur trip with the lots

On the 2nd of Eid Al Adha which it was 10th of December...and also my dad 74th birthday....and we decided to have a trip with the rest of the crew to Sur. At first, the plan was to met up at Sultan Centre parking area but due to unforeseen circumstances our family were delayed. So, we let the rest to go first and we'll be tailing them from behind which we were late for about half an hour.

Later we supposed to met up at the Bima Sink Hole which was situated at the Quriyat area but unfortunately for us, we did not have any GPS or map to guide us to the place, then we missed the spot where everybody were waiting for us to have their breakfast. Again, we let them to go first. We finally decided just to join them in Sur. Once we reached Sur, everybody was starving...It was all because of us..hehehe...sorry yeah .....

Later, we checked in to the hotel and by half an hour we went to the nearest beach for the photo session. Thought of going to the turtle beach but it was nearly Maghrib prayer so we then decided to go on the next day on the way back to Muscat. The boys had a real good time of beach soccer. Night time was the barbecue. Though it was a cold and chill plus windy night, however, we did had a splendid time chatting and sharing opinion and changing ideas.

The next day after breakfast, after checked out of the hotel, we went straight to the turtle beach. Lazing there for about an hour with another photo session and then we went for lunch at one of the beriani shop in Sur. Later I requested my hubby to go to the Bima Sink Hole as I didn't get to see it on the way to Sur. So we dropped by the area which by that time it was again nearly time for the Maghrib prayer. However, I was glad and satisfied because I got to go those places before I headed for the hospital...
